The Future of Remembering is an invitation to pause and ask: What is worth remembering?
Allow yourself to be carried into one of Jean-Guillaume Kodjo's memories through poetry, sound, food, conversation and manifestation. Together, we will share a meal inspired by his childhood in Togo, listen to a live performance, and explore how personal memories become part of our collective history.
Throughout the evening, we will initiate ‘The Memory Loom’ a living archive of everyday memories. You are invited to bring a small object that tells the story of how or where you grew up. We will document and add these memorabilia to The Memory Loom, an evolving archive that celebrates the ordinary things that shape who we are.
Come to share a meal. Come to remember. Come to imagine what we leave behind.
