Beim Bau des KULTUR+KONGRESS FORUM ALTÖTTING wurden sämtliche Anforderungen, die Menschen mit Behinderung an uns stellen, innerhalb und selbst außerhalb des Bauwerks erfüllt.

Ankunft
Schon im Außenbereich des Gebäudes, auf dem Zuccalliplatz, befinden sich Bodenindikatoren. Sie erleichtern sehbehinderten Besuchern die Wegführung zum Eingang der Veranstaltungsstätte und unterstützen bei der allgemeinen Orientierung auf dem Platz. Zusätzlich weist ein Richtungsfeld am Haupteingang auf den Zugang zum KULTUR + KONGRESS FORUM ALTÖTTING hin. An der gesamten Längsseite des Hauses ist eine Rinne in den glatten Steinboden eingelassen, die an jeder Seite in ein Aufmerksamkeitsfeld übergeht.
Unmittelbar nach der automatischen Schiebetür am Eingang zeigen Hinweisfelder im Foyer die Richtungen zu den Veranstaltungsräumen.
Außerdem verdeutlicht im Foyer eine Informationstafel den Grundriss des Gebäudes, die Lage der Räume und die Wege zu Personenaufzügen, Toiletten und Notausgängen. Die Erläuterungen an dieser Tafel, und im Übrigen auch die Informationen auf sämtlichen Türschildern, sind in Brailleschrift verfasst und taktil erfassbar hervorgehoben.

Einlass
Um in den zentralen Veranstaltungsraum, den Raiffeisen-Saal, zu gelangen, stehen den Besuchern zwei Aufzüge zur Verfügung. Vor dem schwellenlosen Übergang deuten Aufmerksamkeitsfelder auf den Zugang hin. Die Bedienfelder der Aufzüge sind durch Markierungen in Brailleschrift ergänzt. Der Raiffeisen-Saal ist auch über vier Treppenhäuser erreichbar. Die Stufen sind durch helle Aluminiumwinkel und Aufmerksamkeitsfelder begrenzt. Auch in die Handläufe der Treppen sind in Brailleschrift Hinweise zum nächsten öffentlich zugänglichen Raum eingearbeitet.

Sanitäre Einrichtungen
Die barrierefrei zugänglichen Behindertentoiletten für Damen und Herren befinden sich in Aufzugnähe im Erdgeschoss. In den rund 7 m² großen Toiletten mit behindertengerechter Sanitärausstattung findet man auch eine Klingel für den Notfall.
Die Türgriffe sind in einer Höhe von 85 cm angebracht, während die Freilauftürschließen zusätzlich die Handhabung erleichtern.

Das KULTUR+KONGRESS FORUM ALTÖTTING stellt bei allen Kulturveranstaltungen vorreservierte Plätze für Rollstuhlfahrer zur Verfügung. Weitere Informationen erhalten Sie an den Vorverkaufsstellen oder direkt über den jeweiligen Veranstalter. Ausreichend viele Behindertenparkplätze sind in der Tiefgarage Am Forum vorhanden. Im vorderen Bereich des Raiffeisen-Saals ist eine induktive Höranlage installiert, die Schwerhörigen mittels ihres eigenen Hörgerätes ein optimales Hörerlebnis ermöglicht.
