Öffentlicher Nahverkehr zur VELTINS-Arena
Nutzer öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel gelangen am günstigsten mit der Straßenbahnlinie 302 zum Vereinsgelände, die von Bochum Hbf über Gelsenkirchen Hbf in Richtung GE-Buer zur Haltestelle "VELTINS-Arena" verkehrt. Bei allen Pflichtspielen des FC Schalke 04 und anderen Großveranstaltungen werden ausreichend Sonderbahnen der Bogestra eingesetzt.
Vom Hauptbahnhof Gelsenkirchen
Im 1. Untergeschoss des Bahnhofs befindet sich die Straßenbahn-Haltestelle. Mit der Straßenbahnlinie 302 (Richtung GE-Buer) können Sie direkt bis zur Haltestelle "VELTINS-Arena" fahren. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 15 Minuten. Bei allen Pflichtspielen des FC Schalke 04 und anderen Großveranstaltungen werden ausreichend Sonderbahnen der Bogestra eingesetzt. In ihrer Mobilität eingeschränkte Personen sollten schon an der Haltestelle "Willy-Brandt-Allee" aussteigen, da diese Haltestelle barrierefrei und nur unwesentlich weiter von der Arena entfernt ist. Fahrplan-Informationen der Straßenbahn finden Sie in der Fahrplanauskunft des VRR (Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr).

Mit dem Auto gelangen Sie über die Ausfahrt 6 (Gelsenkirchen-Buer) an der A2 und die Ausfahrt 17 (Gelsenkirchen-Schalke) an der A42 direkt zur Arena. Ab den Anschlussstellen folgen Sie bitte der Beschilderung zur VELTINS-Arena. Unser Parkleitsystem leitet Sie schnell und auf direktem Weg weiter zu den freien Parkplätzen auf dem und rund um das Arena-Gelände.
Anreise mit Navigationssystem
Zu den Parkplätzen A, B, C1, C2, C3 und Kinocenter, geben Sie bitte "Adenauerallee" ein. Zu den Parkplätzen D1, D2, D3, D4, E1 und E2, geben Sie bitte "Willy-Brandt-Allee" ein.
Zufahrt VIP-Parkplätze
Die VIP-Parkplätze P1, PH1 und P2 erreichen Sie über den Stan-Libuda-Weg, den VIP-Parkplatz P3 über den Ernst-Kuzorra-Weg und den P7 über den Berni-Klodt-Weg.
Anreise mit Reisebussen
Für Reisebusse ist der Parkplatz P6 vorgesehen (€ 40,- je Stellplatz). Eingabe Navigationssystem: „Ernst- Kuzorra-Weg. Für unsere Gästefans bei Fußballspielen geben Sie bitte "Willy-Brandt-Allee" ein, Ihr Parkplatz ist der Parkplatz "Gelsenwasser".

Plätze für Blinde
Die Plätze für Blinde befinden sich in Block X. Das Spielgeschehen wird von zwei Reportern über schnurlose Kopfhörer kommentiert. Wenn Sie sich einen Kopfhörer ausleihen möchten, warten Sie einfach vor dem Block. Dort werden Sie von den Reportern angesprochen.
Plätze für Rollstuhlfahrer
Die Plätze für die Rollstuhlfahrer befinden sich in den Blöcken L - U. Plätze für die Begleitpersonen befinden sich in der Sitzreihe davor.

Die Plätze für Gehbehinderte und geistig Behinderte befinden sich im Block X.
Behindertentoiletten
Hinter den Blöcken L-U befinden sich die Behindertentoiletten. Die Türen sind abgeschlossen und können mit einem Euro-Schlüssel geöffnet werden. Den Euro-Schlüssel erhält jeder Behinderte bei seiner jeweiligen Stadtverwaltung. Besitzen Sie zum Zeitpunkt Ihres Besuches in der VELTINS-Arena keinen Euro-Schlüssel, so sprechen Sie bitte den Ordnungsdienst in Ihrem Block an, der Ihnen die Tür öffnen wird.
