In an emotional statement, the charismatic frontman of the internationally successful rock band KISSIN’ DYNAMITE addressed his fans via social media:
“I will retire from the Rock’n’Roll stage and no longer be the voice on the mic of KD.”
The singer explains his decision for the sake of his health:
“Exactly this touring life has, over the years, become something that has taken a serious toll on my health,” he wrote in his statement.
The news is likely to bring tears to the band’s followers, as band and fans have grown closely together over nearly 20 years.
However, Hannes Braun offers reassurance:
“I will remain the songwriter, the producer and, if you will, the captain of our ship,” he continued.
In autumn 2025, the five-piece will be on the road as part of the BACK WITH A BANG World Tour – Part II. After sold-out shows in Japan, Brazil and the USA, the tour will bring them to Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
KISSIN’ DYNAMITE are celebrated by fans as well as by the music press as the direct heirs of the last great arena rock bands. The band’s current album BACK WITH A BANG (2024) immediately shot to #1 on the German album charts.
