Die Stadt Hemer verfügt über keinen eigenen Bahnhof mit regulärem Schienenverkehr mehr. Deshalb lauten Ihre Zielbahnhöfe: Iserlohn oder Menden.
Die Regionalbahn RB 29207 bringt Sie ab Hauptbahnhof Dortmund über Schwerte direkt nach Iserlohn. Mit den Linien RE 10015 / ABELLIO 89604 können Sie von Essen und Hagen direkt und von
Siegen mit Umstieg in Letmathe nach Iserlohn fahren. Dort am Stadtbahnhof Iserlohn können Sie bequem in die Linie 1 der Märkischen Verkehrsgesellschaft (Richtung Hemer / Menden) umsteigen, um dann bis zur Haltestelle "Hademareplatz" zu fahren. Von dort erreichen Sie das Park-Gelände nach ca. 600 Metern über die Ostenschlahstraße.?
Die Regionalbahn RB 29139 erreichen Sie ab dem Bahnhof in Unna. Am Bahnhof Menden können Sie wiederum bequem in die Linie 1 der Märkischen Verkehrsgesellschaft (Richtung Iserlohn-Letmathe) umsteigen, auch von hier fahren Sie bis zur Haltestelle "Hademareplatz".
Mit dem Auto - aus dem Ruhrgebiet, Hagen und den südwestfälischen Kreisen Olpe und Siegen:
Bitte benutzen Sie die Autobahn 45, die Sie am Hagener Kreuz auf die A46 in Richtung Iserlohn/Hemer führt. Die A46 endet an der Ausfahrt Hemer und geht im Ortsteil Bilveringsen in die Bundesstraße 7 über, auf die Sie nach links abbiegen müssen. Bereits ab hier ist der Weg zum Sauerlandpark Hemer ausgeschildert. Er führt Sie durch die Hemeraner Innenstadt. Folgen Sie der Beschilderung "Sauerlandpark Hemer".
Mit dem Auto - aus Ostwestfalen, dem Kreis Unna oder den südwestfälischen Kreisen Soest oder HSK:
Bitte nutzen Sie die Autobahnen 2 bzw. 44. Fahren Sie auf der A2 bis zur Ausfahrt Rhynern und folgen Sie dann dem Verlauf der Bundesstraße 63 in Fahrtrichtung Werl. Fahren Sie auf die A445 in Richtung Arnsberg auf. Sie kreuzen jetzt die A44, die wir auch als Anfahrtsroute aus Richtung Paderborn empfehlen. Verlassen Sie die A445 an der Abfahrt Neheim-Hüsten. Folgen Sie jetzt der Bundesstraße 7 in Richtung Menden. Nutzen Sie die Bundesstraße 515, die zum Abzweig Hönnetalstraße führt. Ihr Ziel ist der Eingang "Deilinghofen" bzw. wenn Sie der Deilinghofer Straße weiter folgen, der Eingang "Stadt".
Sowohl in "Deilinghofen" als auch am Eingang "Stadt" stehen Ihnen Parkplätze an normalen Öffnungstagen in ausreichender Anzahl zur Verfügung.

Da auch Jahre nach Ende der Landesgartenschau Hemer 2010 und der umfangreichen infrastrukturellen Neugestaltungen noch nicht alle Navigationsgeräte die Straßen im und um den Sauerlandpark Hemer in ihren Systemen verzeichnet haben, geben Sie bitte folgende Adresse in Ihr Navigationsgerät ein:

Eingang "Deilinghofen": bis zu 3000 Parkplätze (ausschließlich bei Konzerten)
An besucherstarken Tagen mit Parkveranstaltungen oder Konzertevents setzt der Sauerlandpark einen Parkplatzdienst ein. Den Anweisungen der Mitarbeiter ist Folge zu leisten.
Ausweichparkplätze finden Sie in ausreichender Zahl in der Hemeraner Innenstadt: u.a. rund um das Hallenbad oder das Medio-Center (nach Geschäftsschluss und an Sonn- und Feiertagen)
Barrierefreie Anreise zum Sauerlandpark Hemer:
Der Sauerlandpark Hemer ist aufgrund seiner Struktur im Herzen des Sauerlandes nicht in allen Teilbereichen für Besucher barrierefrei zu erreichen. Dies gilt insbesondere für bestimmte Parkbereiche rund um den Jübergturm. Um Ihnen einen Besuch dennoch zu ermöglichen, kontaktieren Sie uns bitte vor Ihrer Anreise. Der Sauerlandpark verfügt dank starker Kooperationspartner, wie dem Medical-Center Südwestfalen, über eine Anzahl an elektrischen Rollstühlen. Reservierungen sind möglich.
Die Konzertbereiche des Sauerlandparks Hemer sind barrierefrei zu erreichen.
Anreise mit Bus oder Bahn:
In ihrer Mobilität eingeschränkte Personen erreichen den Sauerlandpark Hemer mit dem Bürgerbus.
Anreise mit dem Auto:
Bitte folgen Sie den Hinweisschildern "Sauerlandpark Hemer". Parkplätze stehen bei Veranstaltungen am Parkplatz "Stadt" in ausreichender Zahl zur Verfügung.
