The Dresdner Musikfestspiele 2027 is among Europe’s most renowned music festivals and will celebrate its 50th festival edition from May 14 to June 13, 2027. The anniversary programme features outstanding concerts, internationally acclaimed artists and extraordinary musical experiences at some of Dresden’s most beautiful venues.
Since the festival's foundation in 1978, the Dresdner Musikfestspiele had stood for musical excellence, cultural exchange and the connection between tradition and innovation. The cellist and Artistic Director, Jan Vogler, has shaped the festival’s artistic vision and developed the Dresdner Musikfestspiele into an internationally recognised meeting place for music.
For the 50th festival edition, visitors can look forward to a diverse programme featuring classical masterpieces, inspiring encounters and unforgettable concert experiences. The festival explores a wide range of genres, including classical music, jazz, dance, theatre and crossover performances.
